Just finished reading this beautiful book by Radhanath Swami。 Having read his previous one "The Journey Home" , I really had very high expectations from this book。 And surely, this exceeded my expectations and ended my quest for a good read。 Not only is the language simple yet profound, the rationality of the author in describing such a difficult subject and the fact that the book manages to do that without being preachy is an extremely difficult feat for a book of this genre。 The book is for a Just finished reading this beautiful book by Radhanath Swami。 Having read his previous one "The Journey Home" , I really had very high expectations from this book。 And surely, this exceeded my expectations and ended my quest for a good read。 Not only is the language simple yet profound, the rationality of the author in describing such a difficult subject and the fact that the book manages to do that without being preachy is an extremely difficult feat for a book of this genre。 The book is for a slow read。 And can be picked up for many reads。 I am sure every read will carry a lesson so profound and make one feel connected to God。Thank you Swami Ji。 I am not a hard core Krishna devotee , by the params set by some other saints。 But by your definitions, I love Krishna 。。。more

To sum up, the book is all about how you love the fellow beings and relate it to God。 Radhanath Swami is a constant inspiration to many around the world。 He brings kindness and joy to the reader。 Throughout the book there is not a single word which criticizes any religion and shatters hope。 The book aims to provoke an unbelievable faith in God and the self。 The words in the book focus on the idea of the religion rather than the religion itself。 The book is pure bliss to the reader。!

Not the kind of book I'd normally pick up, but I was gifted a copy。 Mostly I liked it and felt the message(s) to be good, though I find his insistence on an anthropomorphic supreme being as a non-negotiable tenet of faith。。。odd。 Not the kind of book I'd normally pick up, but I was gifted a copy。 Mostly I liked it and felt the message(s) to be good, though I find his insistence on an anthropomorphic supreme being as a non-negotiable tenet of faith。。。odd。 。。。more
